I have a 7 inch wrist and find the new explorer 2 to big and clunky. The previous generation is far better in size on my wrist. Love the orange hand and dial on the new one. I like the look of an Explorer II, but I'm worried 42mm might look too large on a 7" wrist. I'ts not like I can try one on at my local AD. Anyone have any thoughts or experience here? I like the look of an Explorer II, but I'm worried 42mm might look too large on a 7" wrist. I'ts not like I can try one on at my local AD. Anyone have any thoughts or experience here? I have been drooling over the new explorer2 for over a year and finally got to try one on at a used Rolex store. Going in I was unsure if it would fit my 7 inch wrists. My daily drivers are a Blue BB 36mm and a vintage JLC memovox 37mm.
I am looking for comments/opinions/owners if the latest generation of 42 mm Explorer II with a Black dial will look OK on my 7 inch wrist or will it be too big? There is no stock of 42 mm Explorer II (back or polar) anywhere near me so I can not try it on before ordering it. I have the speedy pro and explorer MKII as well as a 44 MM GS diver watch that I wear on rubber on my 7 inch wrist.

I'm seriously mulling a Rolex Explorer II 216570 but am concerned about my 6.3" wrists. Tried it on at an AD but of course the AD insists it looks fine (don't trust the buggers, they're just trying to move the piece). I'd appreciate any slim wrist photos, preferably in a mirror to avoid the foreshortening. More specifically, the 214270 Explorer uses the brand's caliber 3132, an automatically wound movement that ticks at 4Hz, sports a Parachrom hairspring and Paraflex shock absorbers, and a power reserve of 48 hours. Accuracy is also assured, with the 3132 earning a COSC certificate long before it reaches your wrist. After spending part of an afternoon with the new Explorer II in my hands and on my wrist, I'm as convinced as ever that this is a watch for the medium-to-large wristed among us. On a personal level, this kind of makes me pine for the .
Just wanted to see photos of the new rolex explorer on a 7” wrist. If you have them, please show it off! Thanks!
