Does anyone have a suggestion of brand? Local stores seem to have Lucas Oil White Lithium Grease. Does that sound like a good option? Or would Permatex 80345 from Amazon be better? I can't find the brands listed on the Prusa maintenance tips page (GLEIT-µ HF 400 or Mogul LV 2-EP) in the US.

And what about the datewheel- do you take the datewheel off of the 2813 and will it fit between the dial and the movement of say the 2836? .I’m looking to get a 36mm OP and I’m looking at Wu, which is (unknown, 2813) and then one from Intime which is 8 (BP, 2824/2836). Hey guys, Is it possible to swap a watch with 2813 into any other movements? Would the dial hands and feet match?
The Asian 2836 is a copy of the Swiss ETA, so it offers the opportunity to replace it with its Swiss counterpart - which is why most would see it as the most desirable option. Otherwise, they're both Asian movements, and there is no given correlation between movement type and how long it'll last. In my opinion, I rather go for the cheaper 2813 21j and upgrade from there. But if the additional cost for a 2836-2 isn't too far away from a 2813 21j, then the 2836-2 version can be considered.

I've heard the a2813 can be a cheap, reliable movement. The a2836 is a very reliable movement with a proven track record. The only 2 problems I see with the a2813 movement are: 1) Does not sweep as smoothly as the a2836 or Miyota 9015 if you are getting a modern Rolex rep for the the smooth sweep, and.
Dial feet locations are different. And what about the datewheel- do you take the datewheel off of the 2813 and will it fit between the dial and the movement of say the 2836? Lots of work. My suggestion is, if you don't like the 2813, buy a watch with the ETA movt in it. Looking at a Noob Factory Rolex that is offered with Asian movements 2813, 2836, 3131 and 3135. Besides the price what is the difference? I also assume that if the swiss movement is available and the funds are available that would be the best choice, correct? You will also need a new set of hands, and maybe a new datewheel or overlay, depending on what's in your 2813. So sticking with a 2813 is by far the simplest and cheapest replacement option.
