I like the Basenotes forums better, hands down, but I like to use Fragrantica for notes, browsing, and for the sheer number of reviews. The medium for Basenotes allows for pictures, videos, and there's a more often in-depth discussions there. Threads don't die off and become archived like on Reddit. Threads are bumped by new posts, and there are other fragrance-related functions like listing your SOTD.I think the new Basenotes site has some great improvements but there still seems to be a lack of perfumes in their directory. I personally feel that Parfumo is a better experience.
