[An Artist Every Tuesday] Canadian artist Janet Cardiff sculpts the sound like a goldsmith. Her piece “The Forty-Part Motet” (2001), that she realised in collaboration with the choir of Salisbury, pays tribute to the Renaissance composer Thomas Tallis, known for his complex polyphonic harmonies.
